Hear me, traveler of shifting corridors. Before you lies a maze born of living magic, its paths rearranging with every breath of time. You have but twenty fleeting seconds to escape its grasp. Seek first the hidden key, for only its touch will unseal the passage of this ever-changing labyrinth. 

Yet tread softly, for enemies wander these halls with hunger in their eyes, and a single strike from them will cast your spirit into oblivion. Still, hope remains—somewhere rests a fabled Axe, humming with ancient power. Should you claim it, the weapon will stand beside you in your perilous dash toward freedom.

This is my submission for the Second 20 Game jam. I found out about the Jam in the final week, so this project is not polished. It needs some audio and cleanup, but it's still pretty functional and fun. Each time the maze loads, the system procedurally generates a new maze using a variety of tile maps to create a handful of unique biomes, and enemies to give some variety (it even generates a random name for the maze).

Due to time, I used https://snoblin.itch.io/ assets for the characters (player and enemies). They are pretty cool assets, but I created the tile maps so they don't 100% match. Post event I may go and clean up the art and make everything match better.

Due to travel, I only have my Macbook with me, so the Linux and Windows versions are currently untested. If you notice any issues, please let me know and I'll fix them soon.

fun to play. I got confused at first when the chest was int he path because i thought i couldnt walk past it but i figured it out in the end!
